Let’s talk about SCRIPTURE CARDS!        

I have been making scripture cards for the past 7 years of my walk with Jesus, and the impact they have had on my faith is incredible!            

I would carry them with me everywhere, put them on my desk, my lockers, the walls of my home…  

really, anywhere that I would spend my time.       

They helped me remember God’s truth in moments when I needed to hear it most, and were especially helpful when I didn’t have my Bible on me!      

This greatly improved my ability to apply God’s word to my life!

How to Make Scripture Cards!            

First things first…         

Gather supplies!                   

What you will need is:    

• Index cards 

• Colored pens 

• Holy Bible 

• Highlighters 

Step 1.        

Choose Scripture.           

If you don’t already have Bible verses that have impacted you or ones that you want to apply to your daily life, take a look in God’s word!           

I recommend searching first based on topics.         

For example:          

Do you want to apply scripture to help with your anxiety?        

Search for ‘scripture regarding anxiety’ on the web, a Bible app or even in the index page of your physical Bible.        

Step 2.        

Create Scripture Cards.         

Take a verse and write word-for-word the scripture on one side of the index card.            

On the other side of the card you can write a prayer, your take away from the scripture, or even draw a design that represents the meaning of that particular verse.       

This is an opportunity to use colored pens to express your creativity!            

This will increase the chances of your eye being drawn to these cards throughout the day!         

So be creative!           

Step 3.             

Display the cards!            

Finally, take your dazzling scripture cards and place them in places that you know you will see them often!            

”“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.“

I encourage you to tape them to the walls of your home, have them on your desk, in your locker at school or work;

keep them in your wallet or in your car.            

It’s completely up to you where you post these cards or keep them;      

I only suggest that you keep them visible and in places where you spend a lot of time!             

The more you are reminded of God’s word throughout the day, the more likely you are to apply that wisdom!          

It completely transformed my relationship with Jesus and I hope it does the same for you!
