Do you know what God loves?
Many like to think that they know what God loves, but it’s oftentimes an assumption based on our interpretation of God.
Some think God doesn’t love anything, while others believe God loves everything because God is love.
While it’s true that God is love, that doesn’t mean that He loves everything.
If anyone loved everything, their core values are nonexistent.
It’s impossible to love two opposing things!
After all, you can’t love both good and evil.
Jesus explained this concept in this way:
““No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
Matthew 6:24 NKJV.
So the LORD doesn’t love everything!
This sparks my curiosity now…
What does God Love?
I want to know what the Creator of all existence loves!
What would be on God’s bio on Instagram?
Don’t you long to know makes Him smile?

Did you notice how God says He loves us more than anything else.
The very first time God mentions what He loves, it’s us!
No wonder He gave His only son to save us!
He truly has always loved us more than anything!
The most beautiful part about this is, we can see proof that the LORD truly loves all of these things; all throughout the scriptures!
We see His heart from the beginning of creation to revelation.
His love is clear from the Old Testament law to the Gospel.
Seeing the heart of our Creator really makes me look at my life as His creation, through the lens of love!
If we were made in His image…
and His image is love….
What does that tell me about myself?
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”
John 13:34 NKJV.
It’s all that God has ever asked of us and all He will ever ask…
It what we were created to do!
When we love God and love each other, we are actually walking in the footsteps of our loving Creator!
I know He doesn’t love everything, but I know without a doubt…
He loves you and me!
